Tama Art University Library [Arcade Gallery]

  • Art galleries and museums

"Arcade Gallery" located at the entrance of the Tama Art University Library.
Designed by architect Mr. Toyo Ito, it is a space like a city square that everyone can access freely.

Graduation exhibitions and laboratory critiques are also held here.
When there is no exhibition of artworks, all lighting directions are directly downward.

The slope of the ground floor follows the natural decline of the land.
It is not easy to set up the stepladder on a sloping floor, and it has been a struggle point.

To use SALIOT, it is now possible to adjust the lighting remotely.
The time spent working during exhibition events has been significantly reduced and it can now be done safely.
